Ed Forum 2018

IWMF and Affiliate Publications are written for patients and their caregivers who may not have a strong background in biology, but still want to be educated about WM. Most of these booklets and Fact Sheets are in an array of languages, besides English. You can find the IWMF and Affiliate list of publications for immediate download by clicking here.

Information Packets (InfoPaks) designed for newly diagnosed patients and their caregivers. They also are available in languages other than English. IWMF volunteers and WM researchers work together to develop booklets, pamphlets, and other useful information in the packets that provide the newly diagnosed patient and their caregivers with up-to-date, easy-to-understand information regarding Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, how to treat it, and how to live with it. InfoPaks are provided for immediate download here.

Our quarterly magazine, the IWMF Torch, is packed with the latest information on WM research and treatments, tips for healthy eating, feature stories about WM survivors and caregivers, articles on special topics written by WM experts, Support Groups news, and much more. You can download published issues of the IWMF Torch here. In addition, articles designated by the editors as "Best of the IWMF Torch” magazine can be found here.

IWMF Videos and Presentations are aimed at the layperson, and include a collection of select videos about cutting-edge research, clinical practice treatment guidelines, and wellness strategies from the experts in WM presented at recent IWMF annual Educational Forums.  There are also talks about the IWMF and their partner organizations, and presentations from the International Workshops on WM.  They are all sorted by venue, topic, and speaker.  You can find these videos and presentations by clicking here.

Webcasts are videos created by IWMF Partner organizations for people living with Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia (WM), their families, partners, caregivers, friends, and health professionals.  They provide an easy way to learn about WM from the experts.  Please be aware that these webcasts are hosted on IWMF partner websites and that accessing them will require the viewer to leave this page and the IWMF website.  You can find these webcasts by clicking here.

You can also browse for publications about WM from IWMF partners here.

WM Medical Practice Guidelines and Research Publications are select medical journal articles and textbooks about WM that require a strong background in biology for maximum understanding. These articles offer the reader cutting-edge research and treatment guidelines from world experts on WM, and are provided for immediate download here.

Publications for Medical Providers have been explicitly chosen for medical providers to share with their patients to help them increase their knowledge of WM. These documents can be downloaded here.

Photos of presenters, participants, and attendees at significant events for the IWMF community are shared on this website.  To see photos of world-renowned clinicians and researchers, and of fellow patients and caregivers, whether in attendance at one of the IWMF's annual Educational Forums, or one of the IWWM International Doctor-Patient Forums hosted by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, or other events of significance for the IWMF, click here.
