FDA Grants Breakthough Therapy Designation for Drug for WM - read more!

On February 12, 2013, it was announced that the FDA granted breakthrough therapy designation for ibrutinib specifically for use with WM and mantle cell lymphoma.  This is the FIRST time any drug has been specifically given approval for the treatment of WM, and holds much promise as it continues into Phase III trials.  Read more in the IWMF press release about it!
