	Information for Canadian IWMF Members: WMF Canada In 2003, a separate organization in Canada was established with the name Waldenstrom's Macroglobulinemia Foundation of Canada. The purpose of WMF Canada is to operate as a Canadian chapter of the IWMF. WMF Canada was incorporated under Canadian legislation and qualifies as a charitable organization under the Canada Income Tax Act. WMF Canada can issue tax receipts for voluntary contributions that will be deductible for income tax purposes by Canadian taxpayers. The intention is to allow Canadians to receive tax deductibility for their contributions while carrying out the mission and objectives of IWMF in Canada to provide WM member services and stimulate medical research into WM. While much relevant information regarding WM can be found on the IWMF website for all IWMF members (regardless of where they live), those seeking Canada-specific information and/or assistance with tax issues regarding donations to the IWMF, are encouraged to also visit the Waldenstrom’s Macroglobulinemia Foundation of Canada (WMFC) website: http://wmfc.ca. All members of IWMF residing in Canada are automatically members of WMF Canada as well as being members of IWMF. Canadian members will annually renew their membership in WMF Canada and thereby automatically become (or continue to be) members of IWMF. The address of the organization is 260 Dalewood Drive, Oakville, Ontario L6J 4P3. For members in Canada, future contributions should be sent to this address and a Canadian tax receipt will be issued. We thank our Canadian members for for your continued support to our membership and research funds for the IWMF through the WMFC. ALl Canadian donations should be made directly to the WMFC for a tax receipt. Any donations sent to the IWMF will be forwarded to the WMFC for processing unless otherwise noted. Whenever possible, Canadian contributions to our research fund are directed to research projects in Canada that have been approved by the IWMF Scientific Advisory Committee.
